First Nations man, John Graham, S. Tutchone originally from the Yukon Territory met Anna Mae Aquash, M’ik M’aq (1945-1975/6) in Minneapolis in early 1975. Graham was 19. Annie was 30. She led Graham into AIM (American Indian Movement), that year. Together they were at the AIM convention in Farmington, NM, travelled to support Dennis Banks trials in Cedar Rapids, living in "Tent City" and helping all of AIM deal with the nationwide FBI manhunt that went down, after the infamous "Shoot Out at Oglala" on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. June 26, 1975. Annie Mae's body was found in Feb 1976 in the Badlands and Graham is serving a life sentence in connection with her death. He has always claimed, his innocence. This book is a collection of Graham's narratives, transcribed and compiled, at this request. Recorded from inside his prison cell in South Dakota, Graham narrated stories he's never had the chance to share.
